Youth & Wildlife Experiential Open Day
Young Guardians of Sustainable Tourism
The Youth & Wildlife Experiential Open Day is a special educational program of the International Sustainable Green Tourism Convention & Exhibition (ISGTCE 2026) designed to inspire the next generation of conservationists, nature stewards, and responsible travellers.
Over two exciting days, participating students will experience wildlife discovery, conservation learning, and interactive tourism education, including a guided exploration of Nairobi National Park and hands-on sustainability sessions at the conference venue, Nairobi National Museum.
The program is implemented in partnership with leading conservation organizations including Wildlife Clubs of Kenya and Kenya Wildlife Service.
Participation is open to:
- Members of school wildlife or environmental clubs
- Students affiliated with Wildlife Clubs of Kenya
- Primary and secondary school eco-clubs
- Youth conservation ambassadors and junior rangers
- Teachers and school environmental coordinators
- Students between 10–18 years of age are encouraged to participate
Participation Dates:
Participants may attend on either of the two program days:
- Saturday, 9 May 2026
- Sunday, 10 May 2026
Each day accommodates a limited number of students to ensure a high-quality learning experience.
What Participants Will Experience:
Students will take part in a full-day experiential program including:
- Guided educational safari at Nairobi National Park
- Interactive Sustainable Tourism Learning Village
- “Meet the Rangers & Explorers” session with conservation experts
- Youth conservation workshops and eco-innovation activities
- Tree planting and climate action ceremony
- Youth Conservation Pledge ceremony
How Schools and Youth Groups Can Register:
Schools and youth groups interested in participating should submit a registration request including:
- Name of school or organization
- Number of participating students
- Names of accompanying teachers or coordinators
- Preferred attendance date (Saturday or Sunday)
- Contact information
Once applications are reviewed, selected schools will receive confirmation and participation guidelines.

Participation is free but limited due to capacity.
Transport arrangements may be coordinated with participating schools where possible.
Students must attend with authorized teachers or group leaders.
